Need for cleaning of central air conditioning system
Air conditioning water system comprises mainly of refrigerating water system and cooling water system. The refrigerating water system consists of open circulation and closed circulation. As the quality of running water in China is less desirable is likely to incur rusting, corrosion and fouling, the system pipeline and inner walls of equipment often become victims of rust falloff and even perforation. Falling rust would block the filter or air handling unit and blower coil pipe, thus lowering the heat exchange efficiency of air conditioners. Meanwhile, the existence of corrosion significantly reduces the service life of equipment. When fouling occurs and deteriorates, the heat exchange efficiency of the equipment would drop, leading not only to increased energy consumption but also high-voltage tripping in extreme cases. The cooling water system also comprises open circulation and closed circulation. In addition to being susceptible to rusting, corrosion and fouling, the cooling water system is vulnerable to dusts and microorganisms as they enter the cooling tower through the sufficient contact between the tower and the outside. Under the effect of photosynthesis, bacteria and algae and their excrements would form bio-clay, which, once carried by water flow into pipeline, would block the pipeline, reduce the heat exchange efficiency and in serious cases result in over-pressure stoppage.

空調水處理的必要性
原水中含有各種金屬元素和溶解氣體,若把這些含有鹽類的原水用于鍋爐或其它換熱裝置中,則會因其蒸發、沸騰,在傳熱表面上析出結晶物,即結垢。此外水中的溶解氧則引起設備、管線及傳熱面的金屬腐蝕,縮短管路系統和設備的使用壽命。敞開式循環冷卻水因與大氣接觸多,適宜微生物的生長、繁殖,生成粘泥物質而影響設備使用性能。我們所使用的原水,即使水質相同,也會因用途不同而發生相同的水質問題。

Need for water conditioning
Raw water contains various metallic elements and dissolved gas. If the salt-containing raw water were used in boiler or other heat exchange device, crystallites would occur on the heat-transfer surface due to evaporation and boiling, a process commonly known as fouling. In addition, the dissolved oxygen in water would cause metallic corrosion of equipment, pipelines and heat-transfer surfaces and subsequently shorten the service life of pipeline system and equipment. Open-circulation cooling water is a natural breeding ground for microorganisms due to its sufficient exposure to atmosphere. The raw water we use would incur the same water quality problem due to different applications even if the water quality were the same.
